Burlington International Waterfront Festival July 2-14

A festival celebrating the 400th anniversary of Samuel de Champlain's exploration of the area

There are lots of great things to do. I only hope the weather improves.

There will be other events over the summer

Actually I live in a small town near Mmontpelier. We get to Burlington fairly often.

If you are around the area this summer you should definitely check out all the quadrecentennial celebration events for Lake Champlain. We attended the Champlain Valley Folk Festival last Saturday and there was a "mini festival" of songs about the lake.

I meant to add that we do know Libby's Blue Line Diner although we haven't been there in a while. It is in Colchester and used to be a favorite stop with our kids.
