New York, New York...my kind of town

*World Traveller customers travelling to or from the US, Canada, Caribbean, Nigeria, Brazil and Mexico will continue to be allowed two checked bags in line with the local government regulations.
World travelers traveling to and from US to UK are allowed 2 bags.
So they'll allow me two bags to London, where we'll be spending a week....then when we take our flight from London to Ethiopia they'll want $240 for our second bag? At this point they figure we're stuck and we'll have no alternative but to cough up the credit card.
No thanks!
Flights around the world - with the exception of those to/from/within US/Canada - have always had allowance of 20kg/44lb only.
BA's policy of 23kg/51lb is already more lax than others. Only difference is that now you can only take one bag instead of more for those flights.
And think about its major competitors in Europe - easyjet and Ryanair. Haven't flown easyjet, but Ryanair charges for ANY checked bags.
