I'm going to Branson in June. Last time (13 years ago) I purchased all my tickets directly from the shows/websites. However, I want to see if I can get better prices (and less hassle) by going through ticket agents this time. I've researched several and have narrowed it down to three: Explore Branson, Branson Ticket & Travel and Branson Tourism Center. Does anyone have any experience with these companies - good or bad? Is there anything I need to know about them or their policies? Are there other companies I should consider? Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated.
I'm planning on staying at the Angel Inn. Anybody have any experience with them?
Thanks.

We went to Branson a couple of weeks ago and used the Branson Tourism Center to get discounted tickets for one show. When my husband went to the Center to pick up the tickets, they wanted him to sign up for a time share pitch.
You might do just as well by finding coupon discounts. We decided to see Moscow Circus(which was wonderful) and went to the theater about 3 hours before the show to get tickets. The ticket seller asked if we had a coupon and when we said no, she gave us one. It looked like it was clipped from the kind of tourist material that is often found in hotel lobbies. The coupon discount was about the same as offered through Branson Tourism Center.
I have never stayed at the Angel Inn, so can't help there.

if you use a ticket outlet, they will call you every two weeks to let you know about everything from the weather, etc in Branson. I absolutely hate calls and junk email.
Our favorite show is The Haygoods. Then Pierce Arrow, Baldknobbers, and Souji.
Most of the theaters will let you cancel for later dates. You will get the best seats dealing directly with the theaters. Often front row seats. we visit Branson on average 2 times per year for the past 15 years.
