Bracebridge Dinner at the Ahwahnee Hotel

Has anyone done this? Looking for feedback. This has looked so intriguing to me for years. Would you stay at this hotel? Are there plenty of things to do during the day?

Any idea how far in advance I could reserve for 2017?

Since it is no longer by lottery, you might call the number in the below and ask when they will load 2017 in their reservation system. We have never gone so I cannot speak to the experience.

Been to the Bracebridge twice, years apart -- Was going to attend again this year but decided to go to London instead.

W/ all the multiple dates (as opposed to the Lottery as they used to run) you can just book. If your dates are flexible you might even be able to get in this year.

Staying at the Ahwahnee is wonderful -- but certainly not necessary. For the Bracebridge I stayed once at the Ahwahnee and once at Yosemite Lodge (using the 'old names -- I refuse to use the new names). They run shuttles from Yosemite Lodge specifically for the dinner.

LOTS of attendees stay at Yosemite Lodge, and even at Curry Village (though I personally wouldn't)

It is great fun.

We did this three years ago and it is fabulous!! So much fun. And the food was great too. We stayed at the Ahwahnee. During the day we went to Glacier Point and the village and just rambled around.
