Boutique hotel in San Fran
Will be in San Fran for a few days before heading up to Napa. Anyone know of a good moderate to high moderate price boutique hotel in San Fran. Also what is the best boutique hotel?

Hello sinnedgh, I have found that many people have a different definition of "boutique hotel".
If you would post what you are looking for, what area of SF (if you know of course) and the price range I am sure we can give you some other suggestions too. MikeT suggestion of W is good.

I recommend the Villa Florence. It is in Union Square and is really nice. Very small and quaint. Rooms are really pretty. Ask for a larger room though. They showed us our room before carring our bags their. It was neat. In addition, they have free wine at 5:00 i believe.

Yes the VillaFlorence has an hour of free wine in their beautiful lobby at 5:00pm every night.
The staff of the hotel is always so pleasant and helpful. The location cannot be beat in my opinion.
Attached is Kuleto's Restaurant that is quite popular with locals as well as visitors. Up the street is Scala's Bistro, another wonderful restaurant.
BTW, Villa Florence does have valet parking. That cost about $40.00 per night but high prices are true throughout SF. If you do have a car while in SF see if the Villa Florence has a package rate that includes the car parking, they often do. They are part of the Kimpton Group. And have a fun trip!
