Boston trip this weekend- advice please
Hello everyone,
looking for suggestions on our first trip to Boston this weekend, we arrive Friday at noon thru Sunday at 3:00. We have nothing planned so far. My initial thoughts are, going to Newberry street, walking the freedom trail, visiting the north end., and seeing the art museum. At night looking for some fun bars/music. it is just the wife and we are in are early 40's. It is a getaway form the kids, so looking to just have a fun adult weekend!
thanks for the help

Which art museum? Fine arts? I think your plans sound good. I went last year in March from a Friday morning to Sunday afternoon and that is about what I did, except the Newberry Street part. I went to the Isabella Gardener museum and the Boston Library (on the way to the museum).
On Sunday morning, I went to Cambridge and walked around Harvard and the town.

Just so you know, we have rain predicted for the entire weekend, so be prepared. You can easily spend an entire day at the Museum of Fine Arts; I might skip Newbury Street (because of the rain) unless you plan to shop.

P.S. Our winter REstaurant week starts this Friday - dinner $33.11 and lunch $20.11. Most places do not offer RW menu on Saturdays. http://www.bostonusa.com/restaurant-week

Sorry, you're right. It doesn't start until Sunday.
FWIW, Asana at the Mandarin Oriental in Back Bay is offering RW menu for the entire month of March.
