Boston to SanFrancisco with a 5 and an 8 year old
We're moving from Boston to San Francisco and we're thinking of making a 2 week road trip with kids to get there. I'm looking for family friendly itineraries for the road trip. DanS

How many hours would you want to drive each day? For about a 46 hr drive, not counting stops, that's nearly 3.5 hrs per day for 14 days, or 7 hrs per day for 7 days of driving and 7 days of not.
