Boston: South End, South Boston?

Jump to last reply

I'm confused, is "Southie" the same as South End, or South Boston, or are they all the same place? Is it all Irish or just partly, like the North End used to be Italian but is now full of yuppies? Is there a West End, West Boston, East End, East Boston?
