Boston North Station to Logan Intl Airport

I'm taking Amtrak from Maine to Boston's North Station. What transportation options are there for getting to the airport from the North Station? Thanks.

If you don't have much luggage, just take the subway from North Station (note the North Station subway station is a few steps from the North Station train station).

If you do have a lot of luggage, or other impediments (small children, etc.) you should know that taking the subway is cheap ($1.25) but involves changing form one subway line to another, then taking a shuttle bus from the Airport subway station to your terminal. It's not very far; a taxi would not be very expensive.

If you can carry your luggage, take the subway. From north station, hop on the orange line inbound (south) and get off two stops later at State Street. Then folllow the signs to the Blue line heading to "Wonderland". Exit at "airport". Go up the stairs and there is a free shuttle to the terminals. There aren't escalators at State or Airport, so if you can't carry your luggage up a flight of stairs, then just take a cab.

you could also get off the train in woburn and take the logan express bus from the Anderson train center http://www.massport.com/logan/getti_typeo_logan.html. I've done it both ways. The Logan express is less of a hassle and more expensive. The MBTA outside of North Station is not as bad as it sounds and you could be at the airport in 30 minutes.
