Boston Airport to Hilton Financial Dist.

Does anyone know the best (and economical) mode of transport for a family (2 adults, 1 toddler) from Logan to the Financial District Hilton? We're getting in around 10:00PM on a Thursday and going by subway looks like it will still be a lot of walking (for getting there that late). How is that area? Thanks.

Yikes, at 10 PM with a toddler, in a new city, for me the taxi would be a no-brainer. Logan isn't far from downtown, so the cost won't be significant.

I usually advise to catch a shuttle as more economical, but for 2 adults 1 child (do they charge for a toddler?) a taxi will be better. May be even cheaper.

But... wait a moment... doesn't Hilton have an airport shuttle? Have you called them? It may be even a free ride for you!

The Hilton does not offer a free shuttle. Too bad since we will be lugging luggage for a week along with camping equipment and a car seat (due to no storage facilities at Logan).

I had some delusional idea that Logan stil had lockers that I could store our camping stuff and car seat.

I haven't seen a locker at a transportation terminal in, oh, nearly 5 years now.

Get a skycap at the airport to haul your luggage to cab stand. Tip him. Get the cab driver to haul all the stuff into the cab. Tip him. Have the bellman at the hotel unlaod it and haul it to your room. Tip him (likely 2 different people to tip).

After a flight arriving at 10 PM with a toddler, consider that money well spent.
