Boston airport hotel

Jump to last reply

I'm planning a weeklong trip to Boston and Maine in a few weeks, flying round trip to Logan. This is my first trip to the Northeast, so I'm not familiar with the city at all. Our arrival flight gets in at 11pm on a Monday night, and our departing flight leaves at 7:15am on a Tuesday, so the plan is to stay at an airport-area hotel both nights. We'll pick up a rental car the morning after we arrive and head to the Acadia area, then drop off the car when we come back to Boston on Sunday and use the T to get around.

I was thinking about trying Priceline (name your own price) to get something as cheap as possible, since we truly will only be sleeping and showering in these rooms. Is the Revere/Logan zone generally a fine one to bid in? Looking at the map, it goes from the airport north to Mt. Hood Memorial Park and roughly from Broadway over to Lee Burbank Highway. We're just looking for safe and clean, hopefully with cheap cab fares back to Logan or airport shuttles included. Thanks in advance!
