No, but it's by the same folks who did the Mansion on Forsyth Park and I've stayed there and loved it! Try it and let us know
We saw that it was the same people. We'll try it and report back Thanks.
I did not like this place much at all.
It is on the river and if you get a river view room, the view is nice. But the hotel feels like a "W Hotel" in its vibe -- not at all a charming Southern atmosphere. Music is trendy and the decor is completely weird in my opinion.
Interior might work in Jackson Hole but seems quite strange for Savannah: cowboy sort of decor, velvet headboards, heavy dark furniture, heavy velvet bed throws, no reading chair oddly modern curtains etc. And then there are other design features (like the bathroom door opening onto the door housing the toilet in a way that is really awkward)that are just badly done. Honestly the strangest hotel (for its location) I have stayed in.
I don't really know anything much at Savannah hotels, but if you are looking for a higher end hotel that feels regional I would go elsewhere.
