Black Hills Trip with children (7 and 9)

Please review my itinerary and give feedback. Thanks a lot. I am skipping Reptile Park and Bear Country since we have a great zoo in Chicago. I will be travelling with my family which includes a 7 and 9 year old.

Day 1: Drive from Chicago area to Sioux Falls and check into Holiday Inn Express in Sioux Falls. Visit Falls Park?

Day 2: Stop at Corn Palace in Mitchell and Wall Drugstore. Check into Holiday Inn Express in Custer. Visit Crazy Horse Memorial and see the Laser Light Show?

Day 3: Custer State Park Wildlife Loop, Horseback ride at Blue Bell Stables (2 hours), visit Sylvan Lake area and eat at the Sylvan Lake Lodge, do some short hikes. Eat dinner at State GameLodge

Day 4: Visit Deadwood to see the shoot out or drive to Devil's Tower. Visit Jewel Cave (take scenic tour). Attend the Blue Bell Lodge Chuckwagon Dinner.

Day 5: Go to Hill City and pan for gold at Wade's Gold Mill. Drive the Needles Highway and Stop by Fish Hatchery. Drive the Spearfish Canyon Scenic Byway and hike to the Spearfish Falls. Try the Alpine slide if there is time. Go to Mt. Rushmore, see the museum, do the Presidential Trail, have dinner. See the Evening Lighting Ceremony (probably good for adults, but boring for the kids)?

Day 6: Visit Wind Cave. Visit Cosmos Mystery Area. Visit Mamoth Site at Hot Springs.

Day 7: Check out of Holiday Inn Express. Drive to Badlands. Do Door Trail + some other short hikes at Badlands? Take Badlands Loop Road. Drive to Sioux Falls and check into Quality Inn and Suites in Sioux Falls.

Day 8: Drive back to Chicago.
