Birmingham Hotel Availability During Talladega Race Weekend

No, we're not going to the race, we have another function to attend and can't find hotel rooms due to the race!

I'm looking for suggestions for hotels in the Riverchase/Pelham area. We need at least one room or a suite and would like to be as close as possible to the Cahaba Valley Road/Indian Springs area. Our son is a student at Indian Springs and we're going for the spring musical. ALL the hotels/motels on 119 are sold out already!

Thanks in advance for any help--

Have you tried B&Bs or inns? My guess is that Birmingham hotels are hard to find this weekend with the race crowd.

Do you have any suggestions of good B&B's in Birmingham?

If you don't mind being a bit outside of Birmingham and have a car available, you might want to check out the Blue Spring Manor B&B, over in Vincent. It's a beautiful inn, the food is outstanding and the prices are reasonable.

That is a lovely inn, Techcrafters! I have bookmarked it for future use, I hope.

We were able to get a two-bedroom suite at a Mariott Courtyard on State Farm Road (?) that is about 10 miles from the school in Indian Springs/Pelham. Thank you for your reply, though; I was beginning think there were no Birminham residents on the US board.
