Has anyone stayed at the Volcano Village Lodge on the Big Island? I did a search here with no results. We are considering the Mauna Loa or Haleakala "Lodges" (like cottages).
We are also considering the Nohea or Kate's Volcano Cottage at Volcano Places. Any feedback for this place?

We stayed at the Kilauea Lodge and really liked it.
I just looked at the website for Volcano Village Lodge and it is gorgeous.

Dinner at the Kilauea Lodge is delicious and atmospheric.
Sorry not to be more helpful, as I usually make day trips to the volcano.
Volcano Village Lodge gets great reviews on tripadvisor.com. That's where I am planning to book when we go to the Big Island next....
Well, I went ahead and booked the Mauna Loa accommodations at Volcano Village Lodge ~ I'll report back after our trip in February!
