I am looking for best ski resort to take 3 kids tubing this winter in the Berskshires. we will be driving up from NYC, NY. We would also like the kids to learn how to ski so any ski resort with a ski school for young kids would be ideal (kids are 5 and 8 yrs old)

There are some good little mountains in the Berkshires, Catamount and Butternut are really good for little kids. I learned how to ski there and I really loved the ski lessons that I usually hated. When are you planning on going?
we are planning to go during xmas break this year. i have read good things about butternut. from nyc, which is closest and best ski resort? planning to rent condo or house bc we will be large party of 6 -- maybe more
butternut and catamount are both near the co border. There should be condos or houses for rental, but book soon.
