Best "reasonable" steak in Dallas/Fort Worth?

Jump to last reply

As I get closer to my Dallas visit, the idea of going out and enjoying a nice steak one night is becoming more appealing. I think it was all the photos of the Texas cattle that made me think it would be a good foodie experience while in the area. My wife had the same thought!

The funny thing is, neither of us are big steak lovers. We rarely eat it. We are not turned away by steak so much, it has just never been a favorite for either of us.

So, we want to get a nice, Texas steak while in the Dallas area but do not want to pay the absolute top dollar since we don't really "love" steak. Certainly looking for something better than the local Applebee's steak, but nothing that will break the bank.

Any suggestions?
Near our hotel (Warwick Melrose; 3015 Oak Lawn Ave) is a bonus since my wife would like to eat nice meals not far from the hotel some nights... but anywhere in the DFW is fine.
