BEST PLACES TO EAT IN ANCHORAGE/DENALI
We are traveling to Anchorage/Denali late May/early June - can anyone recommend some good eating places (we have very picky men traveling with us) - some in Anchorage and along the way to Denali. Thank you!

A little south of the city center is Southside Bistro <http://www.southsidebistro.com/>. It is tucked away in a small strip mall, but features excellent food. Trust me, you will not be disappointed.
I have also tried the Glacier Brewhouse <http://www.glacierbrewhouse.com/brewery.htm>
but was not impressed. The emphasis seemed to be on the brews and less on the food. Also, they seemed to be quite impressed with themselves...and it showed. Just my opinion.

The Moose's Tooth in Anchorage near the beginning of the Seward Hwy is a beer and gourmet pizza place with nice views.
There isn't much on the way to Denali except for Talkeetna. We got there mid-afternoon to find most places closed. I didn't care for the restaurants in Wasilla but they were okay family food type of places. Then it's a long stretch of hwy until you get to Talkeetna.
