Requesting advice. I am attempting to choose between Lake Quinault Lodge, Lake Quinault Resort or Rain Forest Resort Village. I have no problem with "rustic”, but I have a tremendous problem with poorly maintained and unclean accommodations.
Best Lodging at Lake Quinault or close by????

Santa Fe, NM trip report (from April)

I would opt for the Lake Quinault Lodge, but know what you're getting: an historic property with an incredible location. Did I say "historic?" Yes, which some people might translate as "old." But it's a great place.
I agree, I prefer the Lodge, for the historic value and great scenic location. I've stayed there a number of times and haven't had any issues with upkeep or housekeeping, although it's been a few years since my last stay.
All three property are clean and maintained well.
The Rain Forest Resort has individual fireplace cabins and right on the lake.
Thanks,
Dave
