Well, we're off to Vegas tomorrow! One last question for you all... Where is a good place for a light breakfast? Great coffee, pastries, etc...nothing too big or heavy like a buffet.
We are staying at the Flamingo so something within walking distance would be a plus.
Thanks!

Well, It doesn't meet your criteria, because it is a bit of a buffet, and I think the Flamingo is too far to walk.
Having said all that,we had some wonderful pastries, very fresh coffee, fresh juice, a vareity of offerings and wonderful service at Paris.
If you can resist the temptation to over eat, I think it is worth some effort.
i second the vote for the paris breakfast buffet. i think it's the best, but boy how could you NOT over eat?
A third for Paris.
There is a small cafeteria at the Flamingo, I don't even remember if it has a name, it's at the strip exit closest to Paris, and it has coffee and juices and good selection of pastries, few tables inside and lots of outside sitting if you like people-watching.
The Grand Lux Cafe at The Venetian is a short walk from the Flamingo and has IMO the best breakfast in that area. They have an express breakfast on the menu if you want to serve yourself all the fresh fruit and pastries you can eat. Also their menu items are delicious. Try the Baja Omelette (my favorite).
If you are looking for a quicker bite, right in front of the Grand Lux is a coffee counter with pastries made by The Cheesecake Factory bakery. They are wonderful and the coffee is delicious as well.
If I'm not mistaken, the cafe is owned/operated by The Cheesecake Factory as well.
Thanks everyone...we may just have to try that Paris buffet after all.
The Grand Lux sounds great too.
