Best holiday decorations at Sonoma or Napa wineries

We are thinking to spend 3 days in early/mid-December cruising about the Napa and/or Sonoma valleys. Besides tasting the wines, we enjoy the decor of the many wineries and hope to see some really nice holiday decorations. Which wineries stand out on the holiday decor scale based on your recollections from past years?

I saw your post yesterday, but I'm afraid we've never been in Napa or Sonoma over Christmas. We also tend to go to smaller producers who don't have big, impressive tasting rooms. I hope someone else can help you!

Thanks NewbE. It just seems like some of those wineries must go all out and I'm not too jaded to admit I'd love to see some of that.

For Napa take a look here. Click on Holiday Events:

Swanson is beautiful. Nickel and Nickel is also. Their are many in Napa and in Sonoma that are beautifully decorated.

You need to decide if you want to see the outside decor(free) or inside (appointment needed for some as well as a fee).

If you want to be mesmerized then drive through Yountville.

Enjoy!

Thanks so much Oaktown9. This is exactly the stuff I was looking for. Great site. We'll definitely check out Swanson and Nickel and Nickel.

Julie:

I was so glad when I came across your query.

I remember when I was looking for what you wanted, I had to really search. It makes me feel good that I could help you.

You need appointments for Swanson and Nickel and Nickel.
Do them on two different days as close to lunch time as you can as both pair foods and cheeses with their wines.

Both are sit down tastings.

Cheers!
