I loved our Trilogy trip. It was a wonderful way to spend the day. Though we motored over to Lanai in the am we sailed back in the afternoon. I'm not crazy about helicopters and I didn't want to wake up early for the bike ride!!

the bike ride down Haleakala looks terrifying and is dangerous imo (you can read up on various accidents reported). you could not pay me to do it.

Tradewinds make helicopter rides risky, and sometimes worse than that.

Biking down from H is extremely dangerous. Many people have been hurt real bad. Many a ruined vacation is the good side of the tragedy.

I'd take some dramamine and chew on ginger and go for the Trilogy trip.

Not meaning to sound like DharmaDowner. Just stating da facts.

Maui is fantastic!!! Make sure to make it to Makena Beach in your neck of the woods!
