Best day trip from Minneapolis to see leaves/have a hike weekend of 10/14

Jump to last reply

I'm hoping for some help ASAP. Here's what I'm thinking. I want to take a day trip this wekeend to somewhere in MN or WI to have a good hike, see some leaves turning, relax and have a great day (with maybe a bit of romanticism). I'm thinking Stockholm but I am hoping for some more suggestions.

We will leave Minneapolis early in the a.m. and hopefully get a good breakfast wherever we land and then start our hike. Some other suggestions of what to do, where to go, places to eat, are hugely welcomed!

Thanks in advance!
Megan
