My family's vacation plans are in total flux this year. We can't seem to come up with a plan that sticks.
We've never been to St. George Island, as we usually go to Fernandina Beach on Amelia Island on the east coast. This year I'm looking for a change, and I think SGI seems to be very much like Fernandina used to be...at least in some ways. We would prefer lodging with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths on the beach. We're not big beach people, but we love to hear the surf at night and walk on the beach early in the morning or in the evening. I guess there probably isn't much surf sound on the panhandle, but that's OK!
Any advice on preferred areas and rental companies?
