Bed and Breakfast Fort Lauderdale/Miami Beach

Never been to this area...is it ludicrous to think one can find a nice quaint/quiet Bed/Breakfast near the beaches?? Want to stay just short of a week and relax.

I live on the beach in Fort Lauderdale. Depends on what you consider "quaint." I try not to confuse that term with a more descriptive one: "slightly seedy and rundown." That said, be aware that some of those B+B's that purport to be within walking distance of Fort Lauderdale Beach cater mainly to gay folks.

Frankly, there are numerous establishments within sight of the beach here which are not over the top expensive and they offer full service, too.

I doubt there is anything on Miami Beach that would be considered a quaint and quiet B&B. There are smaller hotels that may be quieter than the larger hotels.
It depends on your budget and the time of travel.
Can you be more descriptive?
I think there may be a few places in Delray that might be what you are looking for.

We liked SoBeYou in South Beach, but I wouldn't call it quaint.

Our party stays in the big institutional facilities fairly regular...looking for something more reflective of a local nature and quiet enough that we can sleep at 2 am !!! Something in the $200 per night would be excellent...
