Daughter and I will be visiting Brown University in Providence over spring break. We'd like to find a B&B that isn't too expensive ($125/night or less) for the two of us. We have a car. Ideas?

Just google brown university and providence and several come up. You could then check trip advisor for reviews. Also, check sites like www.bedandbreakfast.com and www.bbonline.com . Even the chamber for Providence should have listings on their website.
If you find something nice, I would like to know. I've looked for a B&B near Brown and the reviews I read online came up 'old, not charming, etc.' We have stayed at the Marriott Downtown (not the Courtyard downtown) and they have AAA rates of $134. The rooms are very nice and very clean.
