B&B's

Looking for any suggestions on finding a nice B&B last minute. Any where around Long Branch, Spring Lake, Avon by the Sea. Just want to be close enough to walk if not be on the beach. Thanks for any info!

xxxx..., I suspect you'd get more help with this if you put the destination in your title.

Sorry, but even after reading the body of your post, I have no idea where you're talking about.

Ditto to CAPH's post. Where the heck are these places located? Please re-post with the city and state in your title.

Yeah - definitely repost with the location in the title. That way the people who know about the Jersey Shore will open your post - you are talking about the Jersey Shore, right?

We like the Chateau Inn & Suites which is located 4 blocks from the beach in beautiful Spring Lake, New Jersey.

During high season, you usually have to book a three night minimum, but sometimes they get cancellations and will let you book a single night.

I recently (Aug. 2008) stayed at the Evergreen Inn B&B and loved it. It's about 7 blocks from the beach. Check the Evergreen's website.

Spring Lake is a calm place (non commercial boardwalk) and there are 4 or 5 good B&Bs there. Just start calling each and ask if they have any vacancies/cancellations.

Spring Lake Inn is a block and a half from the beach entrance--perfect location!
