Bar Harbor dining

Jump to last reply

What are some of your favorite eateries in Bar Harbor and surrounding area? We won't need breakfast but are looking for input regarding:

- a good place to buy take-along sandwiches/lunches (for day excursions - how early do they open?)

- a fun (casual) place to hang out after a busy day - decent food, tasty libations and comfortable atmosphere

- a nicer place for a celebratory evening out (this is an anniversary trip)

- and the local favorite, hidden gem or not-to-be missed kind of place.

We're open to any cuisine and appreciate your help in making our first trip to Maine memorable! Thanks!
