Hi! We will be staying in Baltimore, MD / Inner Harbor this weekend for Sat and Sun. We're traveling with our two kids - 3 and 5 yr old. We know we want to go to the aquarium (any discounts/coupons you know of)? Are there other things we should do other than exploring the harbor? We plan on going to one of the markets for lunch, but would like suggestions for any good restaurants we should try that are good for families (no chain restaurants) that are walking distance from the harbor? Heard some mixed reviews for Rusty Scupper - opinions?

Id go aboard 1 of the ships at the Maritime Museum (sub, Coast Guard Cutter, USS Constellation).
They are too young to enjoy Fort McHenry but it might be good enough for you to interest yourself and keep them busy. I didnt mind the Baltimore Zoo. Not a great zoo but decent.
The sub mentioned by tchoiniere is the USS Torsk.
You could consider the Maryland Science Center, also on the harbor, which would be great for kids the age of yours. There is also an observation deck in the World Trade Center - the octogonal office tower directly on the harbor - which has great views.

As far as restaurants go, Rusty Scupper is not thought of as a great restaurant around here, but it does have a wonderful view of the harbor. Phillips seafood restaurant is sort of in the same category, though it is an old time Maryland restaurant. Also good harbor views with outdoor seating.
If you don't really care about the views, there is Little Italy, which is a short walk directly to the east of the harbor. You can actually walk along a string of bridges from pier to pier starting from the aquarium going toward the east. Once you pass President Street and go onto Eastern Avenue you'll be in Little Italy. There is a restaurant right at the corner of Eastern and President called Della Notte which actually has pretty good food, and has a very large tree in the middle of the dining room. And a very popular family place in Little Italy is Sabatino's (901 Fawn Street). The food is just ok, but it is a very friendly place, and great for families. And after you eat, the kids would probably enjoy Vaccaro's (222 Fawn St), which is a dessert restaurant. If you don't feel like sitting down for dessert, their gelato is excellent for carry out.
