B-Day Mini adventure

Jump to last reply

Looking for ideas for a mini birthday adventure. I will be 50 in June and my friend and I are looking to fly somewhere from MSP on a Sunday, spend Birthday Monday then fly back to MSP on Tuesday. Our thoughts so far are Kansas city for Jazz and BBQ, Austin TX for Blues and BBQ or maybe Chicago although I have been to Chicago several times. We also like zip lining, segway tours and scooters. It can be urban, beach or any great sight seeing. We are pretty flexible. The kicker is we are hoping to do this pretty low budget as we are already speeding a bunch of cash on a later trip in the fall. However we could be swayed if a really great idea is presented to us. Any mini adventure ideas that you care to share would be greatly appreciated. I know there has to be some gems out there that are just off my radar. Thanks in advance.
