Austin TX Aug 31-Sept 3rd? Kids in School yet?
Hi everyone!

If we come to Austin, Texas Aug 31- Sept 3 will the kids be back in school in Texas and most other areas? Thanks

Austin ISD starts school 8/27. U of Texas starts classes 8/29.

That is Labor Day weekend though. If you are asking if that will be a busy weekend, I think it still will be even though kids are in school that week before. Not sure what Austin has planned for that weekend as far as festivals, etc.

Thanks for reminding me of that. OK so that is not a time I want to go. We would rather go when it is not busy at the airports etc.

You are correct Jenny, it will be hectic at the airport. A weekend or two after should be okay.
