ATL=Best Rent a Car company

Which rent a car company have you had an overall BEST experience with renting at the Atlanta-Hartsfield Airport, please? Great customer service, quick, efficient, no hassles, no delays, smooth transaction picking up and returning?

Thanks in advance.

I had great service from Hertz but that may be because I'm a #1 Club Gold member.

I will be needing to take the vehicle out of state, and I believe Enterprise does not allow it.

Thanks again everyone!

The rates on the phone with some of these companies are exorbitant, compared to their rates online. LOL

Amy, I don't know about Atlanta Airport but in general you get better service if you're a club member as Dukey mentions.

In my experience there's no best and how thing work often depend on who's on duty at the time you are renting.

I often rent from National due to membership and their price is usually same on website and on the phone.

You can use Expedia/Kayak/Orbitz to find and compare rates. Are you returning to a different location? If so make sure there's no drop off charge.

Are you on an expense account? the best one for me is the cheapest I can get on Priceline after pricing on Hotwire to get the added taxes.

Not sure I've ever seen a company in the US not allow you to take it to anywhere you want.

Hi everyone!

Actually one of them, I think it was Budget, does not let you take it to places like CT, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Canada, Mexico. Avis had no provisions within the U.S., except to say, within the U.S.

Thank you all for your kind feedback and suggestions.

No expense account here, just leisure.
