Atlanta - Savannah - Charleston
Hello,
I am travelling with my family this summer to Atlanta, GA, Savannah, GA and Charleston, SC for 10 days. I would like to know what could we visit in this three cities. Anything we cannot miss?
Additionally, are 10 days too much for the mentioned cities? If that was the case we would first visit Charleston, then Savannah and Atlanta and spend 2-3 days in Nashville, TN at the end. Would this be better?
Thank you so much!
Laura

Why in particular Atlanta. I'd start in Savannah for 2 days, Charleston for 3-4 and Atlanta or Nashville OR Asheville.
Are you flying in and out?
If so then flying to Charlotte and making the Charleston, Savannah, Asheville trip might work better. And no, 10 days are not too many.

I agree with Gretchen - if you're flying into Atlanta, head straight for Savannah, spend 2 nights, then head to Charleston for 3-4 nights, then consider Asheville for 2 nights. Then either head straight to ATL from Asheville or spend one night in Atlanta if you have an early flight.
Unless you have a particular interest in Atlanta, the other cities are better for tourists in my opinion.
Nashville is great, but a good bit out of the way.

You made the point better than I. Atlanta may be the gateway but get out of it quickly!! And if you are doing the coast, Charlotte or even Raleigh would be better, and still make Asheville accessible.
Atlanta is a long way from anywhere on this itinerary.
