ATL-2BR Suite hotel?
We are planning a trip to Atlanta later in Jan and are looking for hotels w/ 2Br and preferably 2BA suites that are in good areas and are fairly reasonable in price - Under $200/nite would be great. Anyone have any feedback?

Leah--If you are coming to Atlanta to play tourist, your best bet would be Buckhead or Midtown--nice hotels, great restaurants and convenient for the touristy stuff. I can think of several suite hotels (ie Embassy Suites, Residence Inn) but not sure if they have 2BR/2B. What about just getting 2 rooms, adjacent to eachother? If you use priceline you would be able to stick to your budget.

MARTA is perfect for the High, which when we went last month has a wooonderful Andrew Wyeth exhibit. The Arts station is right behind the complex. You can use MARTA for the aquarium but you'll have to walk a couple of blocks.
Be sure to reserve your tickets for the aquarium in advance and I suggest you opt to go earlier in the day v. afternoon. We went a couple of weeks ago (10am ressies) and loved it and enjoyed the whole experience except for maybe the crowds. By the time we left, a little after 1pm, there were significantly more people inside. BTW, if you do decide to drive, there is a garage for $8 that's part of the aquarium. We noticed other lots charging $10--think that was on Luckie St.
