Astoria Or to Port Angeles Wa - looking for advise on most scenic route
We'll be driving from Astoria to Port Angeles later this month, and have 2-3 days. What is the most scenic route? What kind of weather should I expect?

As far as scenic goes you are left with one choice ..US 101 West from Astoria to Pt. Angeles. I would say it is very scenic. But if you like coastal views its mostly inland after the first 75 miles or so until you hit Queets to Ruby Beach otherwise you are traveling mostly through the heavily forested coast range. Upon leaving Aberdeen - Hoquium, you will find yourself in some of the least populated portions of the state. At journey's end, near Pt. Angeles, 101 follows the shores of beautiful Lake Crescent.
Another option would be cutting over to Shelton and doing the other US 101 via Olympia, Bremerton Poulsbo, the Hood Canal Bridge, Sequim and, at last, Pt. Angeles. This is more heavily trafficked and the Hood Canal bridge can be subject to delays for opening for marine traffic. But if you've got time it is a pretty drive.
Farther north you will be skirting the Hoh Rain Forest so your question about weather is not easy to answer. Rain can and will fall at anytime but you have picked the drier (if that part of the country ever completely dries out) of the month(s) to travel.
