Assistance with Oregon Itinerary (12 nights)

My husband and I along with our two kids (ages 12 & 14) are planning a trip to Oregon in July. Currently our itinerary looks like this:

Day 1 - Arrive in Portland at 10:30 am; stay in downtown Portland

Day 2 - Portland

Day 3 & 4 - Visit Multnomah Falls area, Mt. Hood area, Timberline Lodge, Skibowl

Day 5 & 6 - Bend, OR (staying with friends)

Day 7 - Visit Crater Lake then spend night in Crescent City, CA

Day 8 - Drive to Gold Beach, OR for jet boat tour. Spend night in Gold Beach

Day 9 - Drive up coast, rent some dune buggies and end up in Yachats

Day 10 - Drive up coast and spend night in Pacific City

Day 11 & 12 - Stay in Seaside, visit Tillamook, Ecola State Park, Cannon Beach, Astoria

Day 13 - Drive back to Portland for 6pm flight

Should we stay in Pacific City? Seaside? Should I split those days up or should we stay in one place for 3 nights since we will be doing a couple of single night stays. What is best area with two kids. We would like to book hotels in the $100 - $150 range if possible. I have not booked any hotels but have looked at Best Western Mt. Hood Inn, Lighthouse Inn in Crescent City, Pacific Reef Resort in Gold Beach, Deane's Oceanfront Lodge in Yachats, Inn at Cape Kiwanda in Pacific City and Inn at Seaside.

Any feedback or suggestions is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
