Asheville, NC B&Bs

Planning a long weekend for my husband and I to Asheville in late April--first visit. Any suggestions on bed and breakfasts? North Lodge on Oakland and the Abbington Green looked good. Anyone stayed at either of those or have another suggestion?

Asheville is all broken out in B&Bs. Here is a good website:

Personally I would call and ask about views specifically from the room I was reserving. Asheville has views that defy adjectives. Of course, there is the ubiquitous Grove Park Inn, but it's not a B&B. I would think a B&B that advertises its location as near the Grove Park might have some great views.

The Richmond Hill Inn is stunning. Outside of Asheville but with great views is The Swag Inn.

Go travel: have you stayed at the Swag? I'm intrigued by pictures of it, but I recall it was wildly expensive. What did you actually pay?

I have not stayed at the Swag but stopped by to see family staying there. The views are unbelievable. I would check it out.
