Say a 45yo female, driving alone, enroute from NYC to Atl. C. on a Friday evening... maybe hitting Asbury Park between 7:30pm and 9:30pm... not a giant Springsteen fan, but certainly respectful of "The Boss".
If stopping for food or souvenirs, where should she stop? Intention is to get back on the road reasonably soon.
No concerts, alcohol, drugs, surfing, swimming, or even daylight (as sunset is at 6:05pm or so).
Can you offer a QUICK idea or two that I can pass along to her?
Thanks in advance!
Asbury Park, NJ just stopping on the road to AC - ONE or TWO spots ???

I guess if the weather is nice, a stroll on the boardwalk and then a bite to eat would be nice.
There are several good restaurants in Asbury Park, including a few on the Boardwalk.

I don't know what kind of souvenirs she is looking for? Or what she is interesting in seeing?
