Wanna help us out and let us know what CITY you're inquiring about, please?
OOps! Sorry, St. Louis....central west end apartment? Sometimes I just go brain dead!
My son and his wife lived in a great apartment on Kingshighway in the Central West End. Sorry I can't remember the name, but it was very near the Chase Park Plaza and across the street from the park.
I have a friend who rented an apartment in the Chase Park Plaza while waiting for lung transplants, but I'm not sure what their regular policy is toward rentals. We stayed in one of their condo units and it was freshly remodeled and very nice...new kitchen, etc.
Until very recently, my friends (a young couple - both doctors) lived in one of the Chase Park Plaza apartments. They are very nice, spacious and in a great location (movie theater, stores, gym, etc in the building). They only moved out because they bought a house. When I lived in St. Louis, I lived in the Dorchester which is not far from U-City and adjacent to the park. It is a nice building.
Are you looking for a high-rise or something more like a two/three story building?
Are you looking in the Central West End because of the neighborhood or are you wanting to be close to medical center?
I live in the DeMen neighborhood (where alex used to live) which is on the other side of Forest Park from the CWE. Email me at blazedays@yahoo.com if you want to.
