Can't say how interesting they would be to such young children, but there are water tours of the Dells. After all, the place got its name from the rock formations...and they are beautiful.

We've been enjoying a visit from our three granddaughters, ages 1, 2 & 5. The 2 year old loved the Zoo (especially petting the boats), the Children's Museum, and going to the playground. The little one is happy just to interact with us.

I can't really think of anything in the Dells that would particularly appeal to either one of them.

Both the Upper and Lower Dells boat rides are lovely. We also liked the HH Bennett (the photographer who made the Dells famous) Studio--but those aren't children's activities.

Yes, there's plenty for the little ones.

*** Deer Park - pet and feed the deer as you walk through the park, it's fenced in. Right on the main N/S street. Take your camera! ***

Miniature golf, amusements parks with tot rides, Storybook Gardens, the beach at Mirror Lake State Park (make sand castles), maybe the Duck rides - WWII vehicles that take you through the woods and into the lake for a ride.

Walk through downtown and buy some Indian souvenors (sp?), eat fudge.

There's a little playground behind The Mayflower Hotel on the main N/S street.

There used to be the Stand Rock Indian show, dancing and native dress costumes.

If the kids are patient, you need to go on the upper Dells boat ride, you just need to hear the guide and learn why the Dells are there, get the history and geology.
