We'll be staying at the Embassy Suites in Bloomington (airport/Mall of America area) and need to get to The Wilds in Prior Lake for a wedding. Only need transportation to the wedding and it appears my choices are either a rental car or taxi. Don't know if the rental car is worth the hassle...would have to take a taxi to the rental station.
Thanks.
Anyone know of public transportation to Prior Lake from Bloomington, MN?

You can take the light rail from MOA to the airport and get a rental car. Cabs are really expensive here, it would cost far more to take a cab to/from Prior Lake than just getting a rental car.
Taxi would cost about $40 one way.
Looks like Enterprise might be your best bet. http://www.enterprise.com/car_rental/wls.do?gpbr=1924
Sometimes they have a $9.99/day weekend special.
They will even pick you up at your hotel.
