My wife is a big Anne Rice fan and I would like her to see Lestat's city.
Anyone know of a good vampire tour in NOLA ???

No, but I went on a cemetery tour and that was entertaining.
Friend of ours who is a NO native recommended Haunted History Tours. Various walking tours to vampire, ghost places etc. Layfayette Cemetery also has a tour, I think. And, we've also been told that there is a tour given by a cousin of Anne Rice, but sadly, that's all the info I have. We haven't done this yet, but want to go soon. Oh--and you should eat at Commander's Palace where the witches used to dine after funerals! It's a great restaurant with super food--rather formal and you need to book well ahead. Have fun. We love New Orleans.
I too am an AR fan. I was in NO in 97 and did an Anne Rice tour. We bought the tickets at her gift shop at "The Rink" (its a little shopping center) in the Garden District. The tour takes you to the places she writes about. You will have to check to see if they still do the tours when you get there. A great French Quarter haunted tour we did was guided by a guide with long grey hair in a braid, sorry I wish I knew his name, I'm sure if you ask at the tourist info center they will know his name...find him...he's great!
