Anyone Familiar with Little Point Beach in the La Jolla Shores Area

We are looking in to condo/house rentals for a trip to San Diego, in the La Jolla Shores area.

I came across a rental that says it has access to Little Point Beach which they say is semi-private, only used by locals.

Can anyone comment on whether this would be a good beach to have as our home base? We are two adults and two children, ages will be 6 1/2 and 5. The rental says it's also close to WindandSea Beach, so not sure which is better?

Any other advice as far as which would be a good quiet beach for a family with two small children?
