Anyone been to the Hampton Beach Seafood Festival?
Hi Everyone,
My mom and I are heading to Hampton Beach, NH for their annual seafood festival and I was just curious to see if anyone on here has ever been and would care to share their experiences/suggestions etc.
It is supposed to attract roughly 150,000 people and looks quite good, but hearing first hand about what it's like is always best.
I've been to Hampton beach before but never for the festival, even if it is disappointing I know it will still be fun.
Thanks!
Layla

Thanks for your answer gail! i was dying to hear something from someone!! lol! I'm sure there will be LOADS of traffic, thankfully out motel is within easy walking distance and we've got a parking spot, so i'm hoping this saves us some frustration. We are also arriving early friday so I'm hoping to beat the crowds arriving in the afternoon.
Thanks again! If anyone has any other tidbits of info i'd love to hear em!

Hello.
I live about an hour away and have been once several years ago. If the weather is good it will be very crowded, but you will still have a great time.
They do have shuttle buses that take people from designated areas to the main drag along the beach where they will have many tents set up with all the food stalls.
The food was wonderfull. Almost all seafood of course from lobster to all kinds of chowders. I believe there were a few craft tables to go through as well.
Have a great time. We may see you there!

Layla - this is a blast! Food is terrific, lots to see but be prepared for the traffic but ify ou're walking you have it made. Wear comfortable shoes and make sure you see all there is there... This festival started off very small but it's grown over the years. If the weather cooperates, you won't want to leave. Enjoy!
