I am very excited ... hubby and I are going to the US Grand Prix in Indianapolis!
We will be hotel-hopping due to price and availability since it's an event weekend. I just booked a one-night stay at the Sheraton Indianapolis Hotel & Suites. I'm getting the room free with Starpoints, so I'm not excessively concerned with quality. But there are two somewhat recent TripAdvisor reviews that are very negative.
I'm wondering if anyone here has stayed at this property recently and what their impressions were. Thanks!

I was there 6 months (or so) ago. It was very nice- no complaints. It is right next to the Weston, also in the Sheraton family. All of the hotels are nice in that downtown area, but I prefer the Hyatt Regency.
Have fun atthe race!
Um, I'm not sure where you stayed downtown in Indy rebeccah94, but it wasn't at a downtown Sheraton. There isn't one.
Right next to the Westin is a very nice Marriott.
xrae it's been years since I stayed at the Sheraton you've mentioned so I can't really help you with a review. It's at the mall Keystone at the Crossing.
