I didn't stay at the Ramada, but we spent one nite at the Hilton (which we were told is the nicest hotel in the area) and one nite at the AmeriSuites. (couldn't get both nites at the Hilton)
The lobby of the Hilton was very nice but the rooms could have used a renovation. The AmeriSuites had an economical lobby but the room was better than the Hilton in my opinion. Both are located near the aquarium as opposed to the "main street" of town.
The Hilton had a pool, the Amerisuites did not.
I know i didn't answer your question, but just figured i'd try to give you some add'l info on 2 other hotels in the area.
