Hi,
Has anyone rented a campervan before? Would you recommend it? Is it easy to drive and is it comfortable to sleep in?
We're thinking of renting one for our Yellowstone / Grand Teton trip since all lodges inside the park have been booked up. The first van for 2 is the one we're considering. Any experience with this company or the van itself?

The alternative is to rent a bigger SUV, and sleep inside it at tent sites. We'll bring an air mattress and blankets. This option is about $50 cheaper per day than the camper van.
Thanks for any tips and advice!
Any experience with campervan?

To clarify, I'd like to know whether the campervan will be a whole lot better than the SUV? What we're basically pay for is the built-in bed in the campervan. But the campervan is taller than the SUV, so I'm a bit concerned about stability and how easy it is to drive on mountain roads.
Thanks!
The mileage will also kill you with a campervan. Most auto rentals will not charge you mileage.
We need to rent it for 7 days, so we'd get 700 miles total. Would that be enough? We'd start in Jackson, then go to Grand Teton, then Yellowstone and back to Jackson in 7 days.
Thanks!
An alternative is to rent a Chevy Suburban. Anyone know if the seats can be folded out to a flat surface, so we can put an inflatable mattress inside? The Suburban is actually 3 ft longer than the campervan. Is it easy to drive on mountain roads though?
Thanks
