I will be in Cleveland for a wedding Labor Day, staying for 2 nights at the Gliddon House. I thought I would fly in a few days early and rent a car ( necessary?) to tool around the greater Cleveland - Akron - Lorain area to go to antique malls, interesting sites and have good, fun meals. ( In Cleveland I will want to visit the R & R Hall of Fame and museums, though!)
I love antique clothing but collect "everything" so I thought I would explore that area, loving estates sales, little thrift shops, odd little sights and nature.
Since the wedding and airfare is costing so much, are there clean inexpensive hotels or B &B's in areas that I would be comfortable in alone? Is there any route I should take for excursions? Recommended car rental places?
Thanks so much!!!
Antiquing and inexpensive B & B or hotel in the greater Cleveland area
