Antelope Canyon: Upper & Lower on same day
I plan to tour both the Upper & Lower canyons on the same day (Wed. Oct. 7th). For that time of year, what would be the ideal time of day to arrive at each of the 2 canyons? I'm wanting the time of day that will provide the best views & I don't mind paying extra (if one tour-time costs more than another)! Photography is NOT all that important to me. Although I plan to take some photos, I'll just be using a point & click camera. (Also, I'm not too concerned about the crowds... I just want a time of day that will provide the most exciting views.)

From the photographs I have seen of the lower canyon, there are two main differences between the two canyons:
1. The narrow entrance to the lower canyon
2. the need to climb up and down stairs and ladders in the lower canyon.
If you think that this is an important addition to the experience, do the lower canyon. Otherwise, the pictures within the canyons are very similar. In fact one taken in the lower canyon (as seen on the web) is almost identical to this one https://www.flickr.com/photos/mksfca...7652458117783/ taken in the upper canyon.
