Dh and I go away once a year w/o our kids for a few days. This year it doesn't look like we will be able to afford to fly anywhere. We live in Southern Ohio (suburbs of Cincinnati) and I'm looking for interesting ideas of somewhere we could drive (no more than 8 hours).
I know all of the big city options (Cleveland, Chicago, Lexington, Indianapolis) but we'd prefer something a bit more laid back. We went to Hocking Hills last year and loved it. Any ideas?
